Terms
Short version: this is a community pool, not insurance. It pays what it holds. Read the rest.
What Payback is
Payback reads public Robinhood Chain data to print a Rekt Card for any wallet, and runs a community pool funded by the $PAYBACK trading tax that buys stock tokens and sends them to eligible wallets. It is an experiment, not a financial service.
Not insurance, no promise
Payback is not insurance and does not refund anyone. There is no guaranteed payout, no fixed amount and no schedule you can rely on. The pool pays what it holds. Rules, thresholds and caps can change between weeks and seasons and are published on the Transparency page.
Eligibility
To receive a drop, a wallet needs a Rekt Card, verified losses under the season rules and the minimum $PAYBACK balance at the snapshot. Team wallets, linked wallets and wallets that try to game the system are excluded. The Full refund draw is free to enter for every Rekt Card.
Restricted persons
Stock tokens are not available to US persons and are not offered in Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or any other place where they are restricted. If that is you, you can still check your wallet and share your card, but you cannot receive stock tokens. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
The Rekt Card
Cards are computed automatically from public on-chain data and current market prices. They can be wrong or incomplete (for example: tokens without a public price, trades routed in unusual ways, very large wallets). They are for fun and information, not accounting or tax advice. Roasts are jokes.
Your wallet data
Wallet activity is public on the blockchain. We store the scan result of any wallet that someone checks, show short addresses only, and never ask for private keys or a wallet connection to check. You can hide your wallet from public boards on the Hide my wallet page.
No advice
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Memecoins and $PAYBACK are highly volatile and can go to zero.
Independence
Payback is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any of the companies whose stock tokens the pool may buy.
Liability
The site and the pool are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the Payback team is not liable for losses linked to using the site, the token or the pool.
